Profile

I am Elena Radicioni, born in Florence in 1998. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology and a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Florence. During the final year of my Master's, I took part in the Erasmus+ study project and spent five months at the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands. From July 2023 to October 2023, I worked as a research fellow at the University of Florence, where I am currently continuing as a PhD student in Sustainable Management of Agricultural, Forestry, and Food Resources.

Research interests and PhD project

I am interested in exploring the sustainability aspects of the food and wine systems by investigating agrifood markets and consumer behaviours through experimental economics. My PhD project aims to provide valuable methodological insights and knowledge to support academics, companies, and policymakers in the food sector.
