Profile
I was born in Florence in 1995. I graduated at University of Florence where I hold a Bachelor’s degree “Forestry and environmental sciences” (108/110) in 2017, during which I did a traineeship at the Council for Agricultural Research and Analysis of Agricultural Economics (CREA) focusing on forest-wood-energy supply chain. In 2020 I graduated in the Master’s degree “Sciences and technologies of forest systems” (110/110 cum laude), discussing a thesis about intervention of hydraulic risk reduction on Morra stream in Tuscany. Since 2021 I am working at the land reclamation authority Consorzio 2 Alto Valdarno, where I deal with hydrogeological risk and riparian ecosystem management.
Research interests and PhD project
My research interest is focused on riparian vegetation and how its right management could include hydraulic risk mitigation.
