Profile
Pasquale Dichicco graduated with honors in Forestry and Environmental Sciences at the University of Basilicata. After graduating, he obtain a specialization in analysis and territorial planning. Before becoming passionate in the field of research he worked for several years in a private company as an expert in GIS (Geographic Information System) and environmental remote sensing. He starts the PhD program after 2 years as research fellow in partnership with the Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA).
Research interests and PhD project
He is currently studying a methodology for the production of the national land use and land cover cartography with multispectral and hyperspectral satellite data, with a focus on the thematic deepening of the forestry class.
