I graduated at the University of Florence where I obtained a degree in Sciences and management of wildlife and environmental resources (110/110 cum laude). I am currently a 2nd year PhD candidate in Sustainable management of agriculture, forestry and food.

Research interests and PhD project

My research interests deal with innovative technologies for the prevention and the protection against damage caused by wildlife to the agriculture, livestock, forestry and environment patrimony, in order to mitigate conflicts with human activities. the main activities of my research project are experimentation of smell and taste repellents to deer, testing of new construction schemes of electric fences, study of different type of alternative and dissuasive crops, study of applications with remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS).
