Silvia Papucci graduated at the University of Florence where she obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Commerce. Currently she is a PhD student at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Systems (GESAAF) - University of Florence.

Research interests and PhD project

Her main research interests deal with wine economics, particularly wine trade and export. Her attention focuses on problems and obstacles that SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) encounter to exporting wine abroad. Brunello di Montalcino, a famous PDO wine (Protected Designations of Origin), was the benchmark of her experimentation.
